In "The Blooming Dream," it seems unlikely that Ann would return solely to marry a blind man without any prior communication. Her motives and actions feel too convenient for plot progression. Also, Jason's immediate suspicion of her without any reasoning is inconsistent with his blindness-induced vulnerability.

Overview：

Eighteen years later, Ann Sand returned to the Sand family, only to be threatened by her stepmother and stepsister to marry the eldest son of the Hall family, Jason Hall.
