The transition from maid to matriarch lacks explanation; too convenient for drama. 3. Genevieve’s escape twelve years ago is uncharacteristic given her current desperation for help now. Ellie’s background merits deeper exploration, and Amelia's transformation needs justification beyond being a plot device.
