Zoey Weber and Luke Clark were originally a deeply in love couple. However, Luke's mother didn't acknowledge their relationship. To drive Zoey away, she secretly did a lot of things that harmed Zoey and her family behind Luke's back. Left with no choice, Zoey asked her close friend, Corey Moore, to help her out in breaking up with Luke. At first, Zoey thought that Luke's mother would let her go after she had parted ways with him. However, when Luke's mother heard that Zoey was pregnant with Luke's child, she went even further. Devastated, Zoey jumped off the building, with no one knowing if she was alive or dead.Five years later, Luke returns to the country and becomes the youngest professor of orthopedics at Fortuna Hospital after completing his studies. Meanwhile, in order to secure citizenship for the child, Zoey enters into a fake marriage with Corey. Unfortunately, when the child was only 2 years old, he was diagnosed with leukemia. Hence, he has been staying at Fortuna Hospital since then. Despite efforts, finding a suitable bone marrow donor has been to no avail. Just as Zoey feels hopeless, she learns that the child's biological father, Luke, is a doctor at Fortuna Hospital. And eventually, fate brings them together again.
