Dayna, the genuine scion of the Kyoto Shen Group, was misplaced in her early years and was nurtured by her adoptive mother Ethel, a scrap collector. After her return to the Shen household, Dayna, in an effort to honor her adoptive mother's benevolence, has been tirelessly searching for the daughter her mother had misplaced. On her inaugural day at the Shen Group to succeed the chairmanship, she encountered Vera, who astonishingly had a birthmark on her wrist that mirrored her adoptive mother's. Dayna swiftly organized a genetic test to be conducted between Vera and her adoptive mother. Concurrently, Vera brazenly impersonated Dayna, falsely claiming to be the junior Shen executive coming to take up the position. The contest between the true and the counterfeit heiress thus began to unfold.
