The Empty Seat at the Funeral

Rae Jake's daughter, Tina, was killed in a kindergarten collapse accident. Rae's husband, Brian, rushed to the scene, but only saved his ex-girlfriend's daughter. In her final moments, Tina asked her mother why Brian didn't save her, leaving Rae heartbroken and inconsolable. At Tina's funeral, Brian was absent, because he was taking care of Nora Luis and her daughter at the hospital. It wasn't until Rae's brother confronted him that he learned of his daughter's death. Angered at Brian's absence, Rae proposed a divorce. Moreover, through Chad's investigation, she discovered that Brian had bought a house for Nora, so she decided to take revenge.
